This instructor-led course provides knowledge and skills needed to operate and monitor video overlay equipment in fiber optic networks. This course was developed using Tellabs standardized course template. Topics covered include provisioning video transmission equipment, monitoring alarms in the Network Management System (NMS), and troubleshooting faults.
This instructor-led course used web conferencing tools to deliver two-days of training at a distance. The course provided an overview of AFC's Network Management System (NMS) and allowed students to complete provisioning and troubleshooting exercises on actual systems. Designed and developed a two day, self-paced, facilitated training program for USCG Training Center Petaluma. The initial target population for the training was 450 people. Prior to migrating to Windows NT the Coast Guard used a proprietary operating system. This training was designed to give personnel the basics skills needed to perform their jobs using Windows NT and Microsoft Office.
This instructor facilitated workshop provides a basic overview of web development, web site design, and computer graphics. Through hands on exercises tudents learn how to develop a web site.

This instructor facilitated workshop gave an overview of the VBScript scripting language and was taught in conjunction with the Introduction to ASP workshop. Through hands on exercises students learn how to create and use variables, use basic code structures, write functions, and interpret form data.
This instructor facilitated workshop gave an overview of Active Server Pages and was taught in conjunction with the Introduction to VBScript workshop. Through hands on exercises students learn how to validate and interpret HTML forms.
